From now until 30 November 2021, head to 1864 to enjoy a delightful high tea presented artfully in an artist-designed box.
Tuck into an exquisite afternoon tea showcasing a dreamy ensemble of local French-style delicacies and bite-sized treats that pay homage to Singapore’s rich culinary heritage. The delicious treats will be presented in a limited-edition two-tiered afternoon tea box, created in collaboration with gifted artist Selena Seow from The Art Faculty, a social enterprise by Autism Resource Centre (Singapore).
Highlights include the Sofitel Portuguese Egg Tart that is baked till it is beautifully caramelised, Mango Sago Panna Cotta Verrine, which features a topping of juicy mango cubes and sago as well as aromatic Pandan Coconut Scones made with a harmonious blend of coconut flakes, gula melaka and fresh pandan leaves. With durian season in full swing, not to be missed is Chef Sam’s decadent Durian Choux Pastry with Vanilla, where fluffy choux pastry is piped with a generous filling of durian puree, coconut cream and gula melaka, then completed with flavourful vanilla chantilly cream.
