Jing Lun & Lijia

It was by chance, or perhaps fate, that led to us having our wedding at Sofitel Singapore City Center. Due to the ongoing pandemic, we had to change our wedding venue at the eleventh hour. Anyone who has planned a wedding before would know how devastating that is, and that was indeed our predicament then. Fortunately, we reached out to Sofitel Singapore City Center and we were lucky to be able to meet with the wedding team shortly after. After a quick introduction at the foyer, we were invited to take a look at the ballroom. As we stepped into the venue, we were immediately impressed with the high ceiling and simple layout, it was exactly how we imagined our wedding venue to be. During the preparation period, our coordinator was quick to respond and really went out of her way to make sure that our faith in them was well placed. One of the highlights of the preparation phase was that we actually got to choose the flowers we liked, right down to the colours and the presentation. Everything was perfect on the actual day itself. The team saw to it that everything was on point, and made sure that all the wedding couple had to worry about was to smile right at the camera. And smile we did, for everything was perfect. When we went back to the bridal suite with an impeccable city view, what amazed us was not just the view, but that our coordinator actually remembered the kind of cake we liked and had specially arranged one for us. This gesture was above and beyond what was expected and that left an indelible impression on us. All in all, it was a simple, intimate and memorable affair made perfect by the people of Sofitel Singapore City Center. We are infinitely thankful and really glad some of our friends who attended our wedding came away with pleasant memories and decided to plan their wedding here as well. Wedded 26 December 2020
